Joe Grobelny is a reference and instruction librarian who focuses on collaborative, critical information literacy on the desk and in the classroom with four years of undergraduate and graduate instruction experience. His research interests include the impact of web-based publishing on scholarly activity and undergraduate learning, digital humanities practiced outside of the academy, music, new media studies, and the intersections of culture and commerce. He has half of a music degree, a BA in History from the University of Colorado at Boulder, and an MLIS from the University of Denver. He studied born digital archival materials at UVA’s Rare Book School.
